Usma Yacht Club (UJK) is a yacht club on Lake Usma - the only inland yacht port in Latvia, 65 yacht berths. Located in the north of the lake in Bērzragdanga Bay, 1.2 km from the highway Riga-Ventspils (E22, A10) and 141 km from Riga. Commodore: Stanislavs Backāns
The yacht club was established in the autumn of 1972, when Ilmārs Lakšs, Gunārs Šteinerts and Nikolajs Makarovs decided to establish a yacht club on Lake Usma. The inaugural meeting was held on February 24, 1973. Berths, a yacht club building, showers and facilities were built, as well as a stationary crane for the entry and exit of yachts into the water.
Local and national regattas take place regularly on the lake. Since 2005, Usma has also been hosting the World Sailing Championships for microclasses.
