Description
The port of Roja is a port located in Roja, Latvia. It is located at the mouth of the Roja River in the Gulf of Riga.
The width of the port access channel is 60 meters, the front channel 60 meters, the inner channel 35 meters at the water level 0 m. Roja port has 9 berths with a total length of 814 m.
The main activity of the port for a long time was servicing fishing vessels. After dredging works, the export of pulpwood was started in 1995. Occasional passenger traffic to Roņu Island is organized from Roja port.
There is a Roja marina in the port area.
